Jewelry
My curiosity for a clay body like porcelain has affected the need to know and to work with it. In general, and after working with quite big-volume pieces, working in a small-format such as jewellery pieces has given me a different vision than I was used to.
The bowls have been a reference, I have made sure that their shapes was very ceramic and that they can be seen both on the right and on the reverse, making the finishes of a piece visible as if it they were made on the wheel.
Paper porcelain I’ve been working with different materials submerged with liquid paper porcelain resulting in a very different look depending on the chosen material, (ropes or sponges) Neanderthal Series, Vilma Series. Moulds for the series Bowls or filters. I mixed refractory and porcelain on some pendants and gave them a mounting look that is probably unorthodox as far as jewellery is concerned, but this set of strings, leathers, knots in the making process, is very attractive to me.
